This weekend was about the hiking! Gill, Kathie, and Charles took a quick trip to the summit on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, Kevin, Gill, Charles and Robert took a "long cut" to the summit, spending most of the day on the hill. On Monday, Kathie went alone to the summit instead of breakfast. When she was thirty or forty minutes away from the lodge--on the way down--Charles met her and together they went to the top one last time.
Natalie hung out in the chilly lodge basement, reading, and watching Star Wars, while her cough got worse. Next year she's staying with Grammie.
